Prostate & Testicular Ultrasound
Ultrasound scan is used to detect whether the prostate is enlarged or not and to detect disorders within the prostate and abnormal growth within it including those from non cancerous enlargement of the prostate and from prostate cancer.
Testicular or scrotal scan is done to diagnose cause of pain or swelling in the testes such as inflammation or torsion and also to diagnose cause of infertility such as varicocele etc.
